  • Section 236 of the Insolvency Act

If someone is threatening you with section 236 of the Insolvency Act to compel you to hand over various documents in relation to a liquidation should you just let them get a court order rather than doing this without one?

If you do let them get the relevant court order how much would this cost them and can they simply pass this cost onto you?
