I apologise in advance if this is not the correct place I have posted...
My hubby is cis registered,his accountant has submitted his return, having not receiving his payment owed after the 4 weeks they aim to complete, he rung them to be told further security checks need to be completed??
we have noticed that an identity check by HMRC was done as this shows on his credit file.
just wanting to know if anyone has had this experience or why it takes so long to complete.
