  • Business sale signatures

    Morning,

I'm currently selling my business to 4 members of staff.
The business was a partnership but partner died and I continued as a sole trader.

I have spoken to the bank and they only require my signature, does a solicitor require both mine and my deceased partners wife's signature for any reason?

I'd imagine not as my name is on the deeds also to the property.

    Thanks in advance

Possibly your partners share of the business forms part of his estate.

Did you have a partnership agreement ?
