Help, My husband has a jaguar XF it is 3 years old in about 2 weeks time and he is getting a new car next week, we thought it would be easy just to trade it in, but he owes 18K on finance and apparently the car is only worth 15 so the new car dealer told him , so he would have to pay 3k to come out of the deal.
We have been advised to do a vt with jaguar finance which is covered under black horse, however on the forms that jaguar have finally sent we have to agree to costs that are unknown.
ok so there will be some damage to the car probably about 1k's worth and probably some mileage charges but jaguar are being very vague, my husband is launching into the unknown.
He is going to ring up the auction house tomorrow are we really going to come out of this worse off
