  • ParkingEye notice for parking at Crewe Arms Hotel- won

I have received a PCN from ParkingEye for parking at the the Crewe Arms Hotel where I was attending a conference. Parking is free for users of the hotels facilities.
I immediately appealed using their on-line appeal form and coppied in the general manager at the hotel by email. WIthin an hour I had confirmation from the hotel that they would instruct parkingEye to withdraw the PCN. Two weeks later Parking Eye have written again requiring documentary proof that I was at the conference.
This has been prepared (invitation to meeting, agenda with my name on, minutes with my name on, contact details for event organiser) and will go in the post tomorrow, the accompanying letter asks for a POPLA reference code in the event the appeal is unsuccessful.
I have also sent the proof they required together with a scan of their email to the GM at the hotel who immediately replied that she would contact them to find out why the PCN had not been withdrawn.

I am not holding my breath, given ParkingEye's reputation, but having the hotel on my side is reassuring.

I will post progress here. In the interim is there documentation I should be preparing?

Aside from photos of the signs, if possible, no. You've appealed and it's up to them and/or the hotel.

    Use email/internet as it's cheaper.
