To defend LB and John his post was from a low point and no it doesn't give hope but it doesn't give false hope either. Have swifts solicitors done anything wrong legally, I am sure they have, LB and the like are full of posts where solicitors and barristers have bent the laws for their own ends its how they win at times. I am sure a lot of laws are based around morals so there is probably a fine line between the two at times.

See....In the early case of Holman v Johnson^[3] Lord Mansfield CJ set out the rationale for the illegality doctrine.

I have it on CD recording.............Mr McConnell ( a Swift Solicitor ) admitting that HE altered my partners truthfully declared income UPWARDS without telling us until 2 years later or asking checking with us it was OK to do that...........which it wasn't.
This was to make it appear she could afford our secured loan.............That is a fact.

My point was had Swift done anything that was wrong in law, this example says they had.

Hii I wonder if it is worth my while checking with Swift to find out if my loan was based on my real salary that I was earning then or did they increase it without my knowing or would I be banging my head against a brick wall. Just a thought. Rosie

sorry you don't like my post rainydays20 but I don't want anyone getting their hopes up against this scum company. What I have stated is true as others will confirm, if you lose to these people in court then the future is very grim.

Hi I am still battling with the scumbags. I still cannot believe they are still denying everything they said about my property being marketed at £110,000 despite the fact they told me that when they phoned me about a year after my property was sold. I informed them it was on for £119,995 and therefore would have attracted a higher figure. They are still saying they don't know where I get the £110,000 from! I do from a completion statement they sent me. I am in the process of looking this out so I can send them
a copy. I have even been to my local MP. I have informed Swift I will contact This Morning as they have property solicitors on the programme sometimes when they are dealing with property issues. I intend to fight and fight with every fibre of my being. Sorting out my ex husband was a picnic compared to these scumbags. I feel they have stitched me up like a kipper.

I am going back to the FOS. It is about time Swift did the right thing and get things sorted. They are getting like Hitler telling me that if I raise concerns about anything that has already been"dealt" with they will just make a note on my file and I won't get any response they will only make a note on my file. Changing a personal letter of any sort in an attempt to deceive would nor be lawful.
