  • Re: Parking eye PCN

Hi sorry to jump into this thread. Im new to this site. I parked at a local hotel approx 2 weeks ago .I arrived in the car park at 11:45pm and left at 2:15am so 30 mins over the supposed 2 hour limit. The hotel carpark is across the road from a local club and multiple people I know parked there but didnt receive a ticket. Its from Parking Eye and has a picture of my car leaving and entering the car park. If it was a legit parking ticket I would mind paying however this was way outside business hours and the car park was no where near full. Any advice or template for a letter would be appreciated as I think £60-100 for parking in a practically empty carpark on a thursday night is not fair at all and im not very good at writing letters
    Thanks in advance

    Dear Sirs,

I, as registered keeper, wish to invoke your appeals procedure. The driver, whom i am under no statutory obligation to name, did not see any signs. In any event your charges are penal and not a genuine pre estimate of loss.

Should you reject my appeal please supply a popla code.

    Yours etc

Should you get a popla code please come back for more advice.
