  • Another Parking -Apologies

    Morning all.
Apologies for what must seem like the millionth Query on this, but having read through a lot of the threads i havnt come to a conclusion on how i am to go about this.
I was shopping in 'the range' and just before closing time decided to have a drink and something to eat across the road, the car park has hundreds of spaces and less than 5 cars on it at that time so didnt see a problem with leaving the car there, obviously forgetting to check for any signage with regards to charges.
the car park has always been free, before it was the range (this summer) and i did see it was free before entering but having gone back to check it says free for 2 hours.
I have tried to attach a copy but im informed it needs resizing. I am on my works computer so not sure if i have anything on here that can do it.
Any advice would be gratefully appreciated (more on the parking charge notice rather than the file resizing).
Do i appeal or ignore? or am I just an idiot in the wrong and have to pay.

    Craig

Don't pay those parasites! I'm bumping this for one of our parking specialists to look in.

Don't admit who was the driver as i assume they are using the protection of freedoms act 2012 schedule 4 ?

Always use "the driver" did this not i, my wife, my girlfriend etc etc.

Get pics of the signage if you can.

Well i wouldn't waste a stamp on them, well unless it was a company stamp anyway. If you post get a receipt.

That may come in handy later.

Have you sent the appeal ?

                              UPDATE.

                              Hello again!
I return with a new correspondence...see attachment rather than me witter about what it says. they also very generously attached some frequently attached questions with answers in relation to their point about my questions being of a generic nature. (I used the template suggested)
So here I am again begging for more of your superior knowledge on where to go next.
The POPLA reference is on the letter also with an appeal form.
