  • Deed of Assignment/Novation

I have received a letter from a well know DCA for a debt that is 5 weeks from being stature barred, and which they last wrote to me about 2 years ago. They have at this late stage provided what they say is sufficient documentation to obtain a CCJ.

The one one item I’ve asked for and they haven’t provided is the Deed of Assignmemt or Novation. Is this something I can ask for and crucially is this something they must provide in order to get a CCJ issued against me.

i have literally just got back on my feet financially so this out of the blue will set me back significantly.

Thanks in advance for any help
