  • Cabot Financial - Egg Credit card and Mint Credit Card.

I sent the Credit card Agreement template letter requests out to them over 2 weeks ago. I have received a reply from Cabot this morning, about the Egg Card..
I have copied and pasted onto the site for your your comments. Should i stop making payments now to this account as there is no Credit Card agreement? Click image for larger version

Yes they have told you it’s unenforceable therefore you are paying for the sake of paying as they can not force you to pay and a court wouldn’t be in a hurry to enforce it either.

It would be wrong for me to tell you what to do but I can tell you what happened to me
A little over 6 years ago I sent CCA requests to all my creditors , cabot sent me a couple of letters like that one and I stopped paying . I have heard almost nothing since

Similarly 2 years ago two of my debts were sold to Cabot , I sent CCA requests, had one letter acknowledging my CCA request and since then nothing - I have not paid a penny to any account in about 6 years- the vast vast bulk are now statute barred

Of course, you are a happy client of Joanna C aren't you ?

If they get heavy I am sure Diana M or Jo would be only too happy to help
