Vt of my car

Hello
I have been out on long term sickness for a year now and have been awarded mobility through the military due to my injuries .
I made a call last month to ask of the process and was told of what would happen .
I rang again on Thursday 17th May to start the activation process I have sent an email and sent a letter.
I'm 8 months away from the half way point. But the car dose have a slight dent near the wheel arch and 2 small scratches along with a wing mirror the got clipped but still intact and working.
what's my best approach to doing this that will save me money.
I am worried what the auction people will charge for the damages to the car.

Normally cheaper to get the repairs done prior to VTing the car.
Check the Bay of E for wing mirrors.
