  • Parking fines

We were in soar in Glasgow parked in a disabled space I have a blue badge, as we were getting out of the car my nephew knocked the card down but didn't say. My husband wen't back to get me a jacket and found a ticket from UKPC for £80 for not displaying the badge. I have since been told that parking in spaces that has no charge in not legal in scotland and I don't have to pay. I was going to appeal the ticket but now I don't know what to do can you advise please.

I would ignore all bar a court claim or a letter before action. Without keeper liability they'll struggle since the identity of the driver is unknown to them unless they are told !

File each letter and after 5 years it becomes statute barred.
