Hi Everyone,
Any advice whatsoever would be fantastic.
I am currently making a new claim for PIP.
I am agoraphobic, have anxiety problems and have tourettes syndrome.
In descriptor 3, managing therapy, it says that this "therapy" must have been recommended or prescribed by a health care professional, and that it must be undertaken in the home environment.
I do "exposure therapy" to help with my agoraphobia, and this is something that happens everyday, and I cannot do it on my own. I also do need encouraging to go in the first place. Is this something that would be considered as therapy in the home environment? And is it something that would be considered even though it hasn't been specifically prescribed or recommended to me by a health professional. It is something that is recommended by the NHS in general.
