  • Amigo Loans - Advice Needed

    Hi All,

I was wondering if anyone could give me a little advice.

I tool out a loan of £3k July last year. The money was paid into my guarantor's account, however he only paid over half of it. Six months have gone passed and still he has not paid. I have cancelled my repayments this month and advised Amigo of the situation, they advised that I still need to pay and I should take him through a small claims court. Amigo have threatened that if I do not bring the account up to date I will be facing a default as well as my guarantor.

I have since found out that my guarantor is in fact having a lot of financial difficulties himself and this is the reason he cannot pay the rest over. It looks unlikely he will be able to pay anytime soon.

I was wondering where I stand with this situation?

    Thanks
