    Re: BF v Abbey

BF, I am keeping my fingers crossed for you, they must be coming through piece meal. Perhaps he will now chase it for you and have the answer at 3pm.

Good Luck....will you accept 65% or try for more!

      Hi Tutts !

Oh I hope he will have an answer this afternoon ! lol

If he offers 65% I will ask him if it is negotiable.. cos I'm sure that's what he said the other day on the phone. But if it is not then we will be more than happy to accept 65%. I wouldn't want to dare to try and push it.. but if I can try and get away with 'haggling' maybe just once (if that's right word lol ) then ill give it a go.

Will just have to wait til this afternoon and see what happens x

            Hi All... quick update

Am just wondering what is holding up Abbey with regards to my o/hs hardship claim.. I sent his paperwork off on the 4th August .. and it was received by Ronan on the 5th.. It will be nearly 5 weeks this week since sending off all the proof. Still waiting for a decision :decision: and am not very happy with the delay. Ive been ringing Ronan 2/3 times a week and am getting a bit sick of it now..and he must be getting peed off too with all the calls!

I just dunno what to do now....:noidea:

              Hiya BF

I am so sorry that you have not yet heard from Ronan on a positive note on your o/h hardship claim.

My only suggestion is another polite call to Ronan and ask him for the direct telephone number of the name of the head of that department so that you can find out what the hold up is and if they require anything else from you. Or alternatively, ask him if he can do that on your behalf and report back to you.

Quite honestly, I was totally shocked and stunned when he phoned me on Friday and you never know he may have an answer today for you. I am keeping my fingers crossed that you will soon hear some very good news.

              All the best

              xx

                      Re: BF v Abbey

Hiya BF. I was promised a decision by end of business Friday and I still haven't receieved a call. When I called him it went to voicemail after 3 rings (I think he must be out of the office)

I have tried ringing customer complaints, but it didn't make much difference - it just meant their was 2 sets of phone calls he was avoidng!!! I've also sent emails but they have gone unanswered too.

My stuff was sent to the hardship team on the 4th Aug, so it's 5 weeks for me too - seems a bit of an exessive time frame to make a decision.

I guess we have no choice byut to sit and wait it out, but it getting stupid now.....

I have just had another thought if you do not receive a satisfactory answer to day/tomorrow what about taking it up with the CEO and see if that helps move things forward for you.

                          Hi Outspoken !

I sent him an email about half an hour ago..cos cant get thru by phone.. so will have to wait and see what happens, if anything.

We were promised an answer by Friday too.. maybe he is just spinning us the same blarney just to keep us quiet !!!! Rofl. It does seem a bit excessive to wait for a decision. and I know he must be inundated with a lot of claims..but it still doesn't make it any easier having to wait.. We don't have the luxury of waiting so long while more debts and bills pile up.
