How do I get in touch with the CEO at Abbey? Is there a different address for him/her? The only addresses I have are the Milton Keynes (complaints) and Triton Square ones.

          Hiya everyone !

          Wooohooo !! Halleluah !!!

Alot has happened this morning LOL

I took notice of Ames reminder this morning to call Ronan for one last time to see if there was anymore news regarding my o/hs hardship claim.. I got thru to his answer phone and left a message. But then. I decided to ring another number and got thru to a lady who said she would put me thru to Ronan direct as I knew he wouldnt get back to me.

I finally got to speak to him and told him that we had received another letter from our Housing Association regarding our rent arrears etc... He asked me to fax the letter to him and he will get back to me as soon as possible.

I dont have a fax machine at home.. so had to go to the library..

I got back from the library.. and just as I set my foot thru the door.. Ronan rang me back with a 65% offer of the claim..£6,405.. (by cheque into bank account)

I cant believe it !!! this will definatley help us to get back on our feet and sort ourselves out..

I am over the moon for you Jas.

OK, Wait for letter confirming offer and then we will hit them with a reply just to ensure it's on record regarding your protected rights as detailed in FSA Waiver.

Also, you will not be discontinuing any county court claims, these will remain stayed until test case is resolved.

Congratulations Jas and everyone who has worked to help you with this.

As Ame said earlier prioritise your outstanding debts and get them off your back as soon as you can, but also if you can afford to keep a little back to enjoy with your family.

Am just thinking, anyone making sure BF is not getting ripped off paying these criminals off, or is it a set amount?

                                Hi Enaid !

Yes, you are absolutely right there. Enaid.am paying thru the nose for these type of loans., but didnt really want to take them out in the first place tbh... It made sense at the time cos we needed something to tie us over til next payday.

We know its not a very good thing to do..
Its like doing a deal with the Devil !

Im so glad we now have the opportunity to clear these loans tho.. and wont need to rely on them anymore !

                                BF xx
