I amassed some debt with HSBC back in 2006 for a credit card, overdraft and loan - about 12k in total. Since then I have been paying off around £10 per month for each until last year, due to having low income.
Last year my debt was passed on to Arrow Global - used to this happening so I sent them a request for a direct debit mandate form and a statement of account. A few weeks later I received a letter saying that the accounts had been placed on hold whilst they dealt with my request/complaint - I've had these letters approximately once every four months or so since last August. I haven't made any payments as they didn't tell me where to send any money!
Today I received a letter from them saying they have passed the debt on to Restons Solicitors - where do I stand with this?
