Hi guys, new member here requiring some advice please!
I had an account with Littlewoods about 4 years ago, I didn't make any repayments and they sent my info off to a DCA to try and get me to pay my debt, now over the years I have had a few letters from different DCAs (which I don't have any more) except a couple. The last one I got before last week was dated 5th July 2011 from Debt Managers Ltd saying I owed £XXX and a phone number to call them on to make payment and also a web address with a username and password for my account. I wanted to pay this debt but honestly completely forgot about it until 12th July 2012 when I received a letter from Fredrickson International saying they have been instructed by 'Arrow Global Guernsey Limited' to collect my debt of the same amount that Debt Managers said I owed. They mention nothing of the Debt Managers company passing over the debt to them and I've never heard of Arrow Global. Now I received a letter today 26th July 2012 dated 24th July 2012 saying that the debt has to be paid in full within 7 days or I will be taken to court and a breakdown of court fees and solicitors costs. After doing some research on here and MSE.co.uk I found that Fredrickson International could be a bit dodgy and also I have logged into the Debt Managers website using the username and password in the letter from 2011 and they say I still owe them the money! I wish to pay this debt off but not sure which company to contact to make the payments!
