Is there anyone that knows if there are any regulations about spouse taking a loan out and company using joint income to assess the loan?

Mr Shads was naughty a few years back and knowing I was against sub-prime, went ahead without me, taking out a loan in his name only. He says they didn't use both incomes but I will request SAR and if I find they have used mine too and that he volunterred this information I will definitely have something to say to him, if he insists he didn't then that leaves me thinking they could have made it up. Whatever, would the loan company have contravened any regulations using both our incomes?

He said it was unsecured and it turned out to be secured (thanks Mr Shads) but as with these things, it's now starting to look like a dubious agreement which I am looking into.
