Mortimer and Clarke Private and Confidential email

Over this last month or so, I keep getting these emails from Mortimer and Clarke solicitors advising of a correspondence I must click on a link to view or download.

I'm reluctant to do this as I don't want them to have any way to say they can confirm they have been in contact with me. Or that I have acknowledged anything from them.

Has anyone had these types of emails and know generally if they are just your standard threats that can be ignored?
