Information to pass on:
To anyone unfortunate enough to have a loan with Blemain Finance, they phoned me on Saturday (Monarch Recoveries) 2 days before my direct debit was due. Was told that the call was a mistake in that I hadn't missed a payment, but had I had a letter about their change of collection date? No, I hadn't - still haven't - but apparently they are now taking all payments on the last working day of the month whatever the date is.
I pay by direct debit. My contract reads (payments) 'on the same date in each month or on the last day of the month which does not contain a corresponding date'.
Question:
Can they change this legally?
Would be most grateful for any help?
