  • Unsure if Lowell can place CCJ

    Hello everyone,

Over the past few months, I have been dealing with Lowell Financial Limited. They alleged i had an account with them of alleged monies owed of £1505 to a debt they had purchased. I have only recently learned that they had placed a CCJ back in 2014. However, after recently sending a vulnerability letter and various of letters, i received a letter confirming they were closing the account and that they would not be pursuing it any further. In the vulnerability letter, i requested original copies of the alleged debt in which i did not receive. This would indicate that they do not have them and therefor should they have placed a CCJ on my file? Can i have them remove this?

In all the communications with Lowell over the last few months they didn't mention they already had a default judgment through the courts ?

The CCJ will fall off the register and credit file in 2030 ( six years after it was obtained )
