  • hire purchase no default notice

hi i am new to this so please be patient
could some one please advice with knowledge as it important to my family
i took out a hire purchase with barclays partner finance for a static caravan. got into money problems and they repossessed it.
i paid under 1/3 but they have admitted they didn't issue a default notice or court order
there a some points i need clarifying please

1/ can they just repossess it with out a default notice, ie the case chartered trust plc vs king
2/it was held on a private holiday park when it was taken, i was up to date with site fees. should they have needed a court order?

i am thinking of taking them to small claims court, it would be £340 initial cost then £540 for hearing fees.the cost i am claiming is £22000.
    questions

1/do you think i would have a case that i could win?
2/would there likely be any more costs if i was to loose i.e their solicitors fees
    many thanks
