  • RCI Finance

I bought a car from Renault in 2007 on finance, the final payment was due in August this year (Renault's finance company is RCI Finance in Watford) I wasn't notified of this and continued to pay x 3 monthly payments.
Upon notification that finally came from them, we arranged a refinance for the small amount left to pay. But this negated the 3 monthly overpayments which was to be paid back to me, directly into my bank in c. 3-5 days.
    They have not actioned this.
They are suggesting it is part of the refinance which is clearly is not based upon figures supplied.
They have not supplied any revised figures demonstrating this.
In fact they have completely taken it into their own hands to do whatever they wished with this overpayment of c. £1100

What do I do? Do I continue to pay my newly established direct debits or simply stop until this is resolved?

Please help me with this as it is so very frustrating.
    Thanks
