I emailed, faxed and sent a letter via recorded post to both Lowells & Fredrickson and within a couple of days the phone calls stopped. Around a week later I received the bog standard "thank you for your complaint letter & we are looking into it" blah blah blah.

Then guess what arrived in the post this morning.....

A letter from Frederickson, who have "very kindly" informed me that they are returning my file to Lowells due to an "ongoing dispute". I haven't heard from Lowells yet, and my guess is that I won't (at least I hope I won't unless its an apology and confirmation that they have burnt my file - but I don't see that happening!!)

So I guess we wait and see what Lowells do next - my guess is something stupid, I'm just not sure what the something stupid will be!!:noidea:

I'd like to thank Kate for all her help - I know she sent Lowells and their legal department a very stern email and i'm sure that helped resolve things so quickly. I think Lowells must shake every time Kate's name appears on an letter or email :typing::fear:

there is always the threat of prosecuting them under Improper use of public electronic communications network - Communications Act 2003, section 127

if they continue to call and or text you.

P.s. I have enjoyed read the thread from beginning to end and greatly enjoyed the outcomeeace:
