Can I claim costs getting a set aside.
Put in the papers today and they said a judge will look at it and I should hear in 5-10 days.
I also gave them a letter from the DCA saying they are not pursuing legal action due to a dispute with the debt.
So my thinking is that the judge should set aside without the parties being present.
If this is the case can I claim for:
4 hrs research
writing a CCA req
trip to post office to post
postal order
special delivery
trip to court petrol
car parking
4 hrs time to/from and in court building
refreshments and breakfast.
or do I have to wait for a hearing date and then submit costs 14days before.
And are these costs ok/reasonable.
the site can have 50% of anything I get (promise).
Once I actually got the right court/office/person the lady was very helpful and walked me though the process.
Although the final lady was very helpful, the rest of the courts staff probably couldn't get a job in macdonalds ( no offence meant to anyone working in macdonalds, but you must know what I mean).
Meanwhile is there a template letter to complain to the relevant bodies for the DCA abuse of process.
