†Overdraft Notes
1. £25.00 may be charged on each occasion that you:-
- go overdrawn or further overdrawn
- exceed, or further exceed, an agreed overdraft limit.
2. You will not be charged a review fee if you go overdrawn or further overdrawn without an agreed limit or exceed, or further exceed, your overdraft limit by £10 or less.
3. You will not be charged a review fee if you have not exceeded your overdraft limit/gone overdrawn without a limit in the last 6 months.
4. We will not charge review fees for more than the amount by which you have gone overdrawn without prior agreement or exceeded your overdraft limit in any one charging month.
5. You will not be charged a review fee if you have gone overdrawn without an agreed overdraft by no more than £50 for a total period of 14 days in any one month.
6. You will only be charged review fees a maximum of 5 times in any one month.
7. Our interest rates and fees may change from time to time. We reserve the right to change when we will and will not charge fees from time to time.
††Private Client Current Account customers also receive these credit rates.The Private Clients Current Account debit rate is 3% over base, or margin over base rate agreed with your Branch Manager. Please note that this is no longer sold.

** Customers with a Gold Mastercard benefit from borrowing at 2.50% above base rate (EAR 7.2%) on the whole balance for limits up to £2,500. Negotiated rates apply thereafter.
For charging purposes a month is not a calendar month but begins on the date your account opens. For example, if you opened your account on 20 January, your charging period will be from the 20th of each month to the 19th of the following month.
NET: The rate after the deduction of tax applicable to interest, currently 20%. Higher rate tax payers will have an additional liability. NET rates do not apply to Channel Islands and Isle of Man customers.
AER: Annual Equivalent Rate: This is a notional rate which illustrates what the gross rate would be if interest were paid and compounded each year.
GROSS: The rate before the deduction of tax applicable to interest on savings.
APR: Annual Percentage Rate. This is the total cost of credit, including all interest and any other charges.
EAR: Effective Annual Rate. This takes account of the interest rate and how often interest is paid, and does not include any fees or charges.
All rates are quoted per annum, unless otherwise stated, and are variable.
