reclaiming credit card charges

I am attempting to reclaim credit card charges and the companies are all saying as it is over six years they will not pay up and quote the OFT ruling. I thought this was in relation to bank charges and nothing to do with credit card charges. Any advice

I see a number of people have viewed this post but no advice has been forthcoming. Anyone out the able to help with my points.
