Hi
I have worked as a salesperson for the same company for 20 years. I have been dismissed, and face finding similar employment with another firm. I vaguely recollect a clause in the contract that I signed, all those years ago, relating to avoiding contact with customers of the company for a period of 6 months after leaving. Is this fair? It seems that it jeapordises my future employment prospects, as if I find a job in the same area and industry I will need to contact said customers.
