Hi everyone first time post so please be nice
I have a question about a house I purchased in December 2015 and thinking about it now feel as though I may have been given duff information by the salesman in the show house and I didn't know if this would fall under potential mis-selling or not and would appreciate anyone's thoughts.
When we bought the new house we signed on the dotted line with a price of £136,995 and this included free flooring throughout the house as well as a few extras like towel radiators and a full length mirror maybe coming to no more than £3000, which we were happy with at the time.
However thanks to zoopla I have just realised that the exact same house as ours was sold in January 2016 for £115,000 now that did not get anything thrown in by the builders but this is still £22,000 we could have saved ourselves which we obviously would have done if the salesman had given us that option when we bought our house.
And to top it off we also paid £2,700 ish stamp duty as the house was over the £125,000 threshold. Which means we were stung to the thick end of £25,000????? In total.
Does anyone think I could have a case against the builders/sales person as we were not given all of the information available to us when we bought the house???
Thanks for everyone's patience and look forward to any feedback anyone may have
