hi...I am new to the forum and looking for some advice if anyone can assist,
I am unemployed have issued proceedings against my former landlord whom did not protect my deposit. I have used the moneyclaim online service and having gone through the whole process they have informed that the claim is stayed and that the claim should be a part 8 claim. I should add the defendant admitted fault on returned papers during the claim process (by accident or stupidity I do not know).
My question is regards to the status.
1. Do I start a new part 8 claim and will this be a completely new claim?
2. OR do I start a part 8 claim and reference this back to the claim that is stayed?
3. The stayed claim is northampton county court, but if the part 8 claim is new, can I complete the papers for my local county court.
any help would be greatly appreciated as I do not have the funds for legal advice.. Thanks
