Hi there,
I'm new to this site so please bear with me,i recently received a letter from Cabot stating I need to pay £5300 from an old debt from 2004 of which I was given a ccj for of which is now of my file,i know I can't call it statute barred but I've had no contact with black horse finance since 2005,i have not put anything in writing admitting anything to anybody for over 10 years or made a payment,cabot are claiming I have to pay it immediately,i asked for a credit agreement of which they have produced,just a bit stuck now looking for advice.cheers.
