Could really do with some advice please. My daughter had a visit from bailiffs which was for me. It's regarding an unpaid speeding fine. I had sold this vehicle some time before but dvla records had not been updated when I sent the transfer of ownership form. I had since moved from the address that the vehicle was still showing as registered to. If dvla did not receive the forms and the owner who incurred the fine is not likely to own up to it. I believe the vehicle has since been seized and crushed but what for I don't know. How do I prove that I was no longer the owner. This is very worrying. Advice please..
