I was at a company just shy of 5 years at which point they made me redundant. They told me the role was being made to a higher band and I didn't have enough experience and/or knowledge even though I have been asking for personal development for the past few years in my appraisals. Now I hear they have taken someone on who has no industry experience and to top that found out she was being interviewed prior to me being given notice of redundancy. Surely the process to replace you cannot be made before your redundancy process has finished. Quite simply I think they wanted me out so have effectively pushed me out the door. The actual redundancy process was correct as far as I can see apart from the fact it was a foregone conclusion. Is there anything I can do?
