  • Advice sought re cancelling Finance agreement after first payment.

I wish to cancel an agreement with a Legacy and Will company, whom I have had difficulty cantacting after informing them I wished to do so.

They finally contacted me this morning and did everything they could to persuade me to continue. As I insisted I did not want to continue, I was told I would still have to pay.

I then contacted my bank, who suggested I cancel the Direct Debit, which they did for me, and as I had only paid the first instalment, I should write to the Finance company and inform them. However, I do not know how to word a letter to them.

    Can someone please advise?

    Regards.
