  • AoE when employed and self employed??

    Hi

i have recieved an N55 attachment of earnings order application form. I am employed and self employed and registered self employed for tax purposes. Does this mean that they cannot get an attachment of earnings order if i check the self employed box? As technically my status with hmrc is self employed.

being a contractor in HR dealing with payroll matters, can this be enough to get an AoE suspended as my job could be jeopardised? Especially as im on a temp contract and an AoE could affect me being employed as a perm employee in the future?

any advice would be great as i really dont want my employer to find out.

    thanks in advance,
