Hi guys,
A couple of years ago I received two tickets within a minute of each other (17:08 & 17:09) for driving down a notoriously poorly sign posted road near the Children's hospital (I was one of 60k people caught in a two month period).
As both tickets were issued on the same road, I wrongly thought that I had successfully appealed both tickets due to the poorly signposted road. A couple of months ago I received correspondence to the contrary as they were pursuing the other ticket. I followed the same appeal procedure which was rejected.
i sent letters asking to clarify the grounds for the success and failure of the respective appeals. I was quoted the relevant section and told to pay. They refused to answer my query repeatedly and continued with process. I haven't paid and the sum is now £405 to collected via distress warrant via Equita.
should I pay or do I have any recourse??
Thanks in advance
