Hi
I have a few things that I need to sort out so I'm here to learn what to do. I got my Noddle report last night. It shows a default from Santander in October 2008 - balance 11428. I am fairly sure that this was not registered as a default when I went bankrupt in November 2008. In October 2008 the account would only have had 2 months missed payments, October being the 3rd missed, so a default would or should not have been registered.
On seeing this I am wondering if they have done this maliciously in order that my BR would not have the effect on my credit file that it is supposed to have. They have also lodged me as Gone-away. I had not moved for 10 years previously and indeed did not move for 18 months after BR.
Regardless of the fact that it will disappear from my file in 7 months, I am disgusted at what appears to be a deliberate slur so have lodged a dispute with Noddle.
As I have now moved a few times Experian & Equifax want proof of address so I have to send that away before I can see those reports to check details.
There are lots of other issues which need sorted but I am in no hurry & rather than confuse myself I will take them 1 at a time.
Good to be here, I hope
