Hello,
i am new to the site and i am very worried about a letter i have received from HMRC.
It states that a Company which i ws a Director/Shareholder of owes primary and secondary Class 1 contributions for the period 6th April 2007 - 5th April 2008. The Company was placed into Liquidation in February 2010 and i am not sure if i owe the moeny persoanlly can anyone help?
The letter states a Notice of decision and Notice of the named person addressed to me but the box with the information clearly states that the company is liable to pay X and the next line the company has paid Y. There is no total amount calculated as owing and it does not state clearly that HMRC are trying to recover the difference from me.
Any help or guidance would be very much appreciated and welcome :-)
