Hi, I'm a new member. Also been having trouble with Orange/Arrow Global. My wife received a demand from Fredricksons for £274 last July for an alleged phone contract with Orange showing an address 60 miles away. She's always been "pay as you go" and never had a contract with Orange. After protracted correspondence (including threats of legal action), in which they sent us a statement with her name on but with the wrong address, they finally stopped writing. Last month, we received letters from Buchanans pursuing the same debt. Neither company has been able to provide us with details of the contract my wife was supposed to have taken out. The earliest date on the statement was 2002 but whoever has been paying the contract was making payments up to 2005 and the £274 relates to the last 2 invoices which were June and July 2005.
We can't understand how my wife's name is on the unknown addrress, but the letters from both the DCAs have come to our home address. Anyone else had a similar problem withn what appears to be mistaken identity, or misrepresentation?
