  • Fast Track Reclaim / trying to scam me for a working from home Tax Claim

    HI,

I am hoping for some advice on how to stop FTR from trying to claim £600 from me, back in 2022, I was looking around for support on working from home tax relief, after colleagues had successful claims, somehow I have apparently signed up to Fast Track reclaims help. However I was not successful, they are now claiming £600 for a tax claim I processed myself this year due to over paying on my tax. Utterly ridiculous stuff. Apparently its due to a T&C that allows them to become my contact to HMRC and claim any tax rebaits I receive. The contract even states "NO WIN NO FEE" if your working from home tax claim isn't successful, they also sent a separate email years ago saying we will let you know if you haven't been successful (They only showed me this now after requesting all communication to be shared with me. They never sent any emails when they're saying I signed this contact with them (I don't believe I signed anything), I only have emails from them recently. I will not be paying them a penny even though they threatened a CCJ today, any advice would be a great help as I will not be paying them a penny.

I believe they have a signed contract under false advertising.
