    I was asked a question and thought the best answer would be to ask the question here.
    This goes back quite a time in fact the debt occurred, in 2007, and the original account was with a large organisation. And defaulted. They sold the account to debt buyers, and they instantly went to Court and obtained a judgment, I have not been able to establish how, now the debt has apparently been reduced by half, the person is reluctant to appeal the case due to the Court cost, if they stop the payments they have thought that it would return to Court as certain facts have come to light that they had no knowledge of where some mistakes made. In fact, never attended Court to defend.
