  • Disrepair personal injury claim

Hi I am looking for some advice please we were decanted from a new build housing association property with horrendous mould and damp we had experienced six years of chasing them and misdiagnosis repairs that in the end they moved us to another property as we weren’t able to remain there due to its awful condition. Shelter and the local mp were involved and shelter managed our move out. We knew that if we had stayed in the property after consulting with London solicitors we could have received big payout but at the time we just wanted to leave to live somewhere safe as our children were suffering. Two of my children had respiratory problems at the time, my middle
son has severe autism already and I had severe anxiety and depression due to the continuous issues. We left with the agreement to go through their insurers to claim for this Mental health/Depression /anxiety/Stress/Emotional distress and severe disruption to our lives, they have since accepted responsibility through their insurers too but they are telling us we need to instruct solicitors to act on behalf of the children and we don’t actually know what our chances are of success with this. Not sure what type of solicitors we should contact as most I have spoken to have said they would not work
on Case like this. Do we need a solicitor if so
are we best to go with no win/no fee I really
don’t know where to go with it, so any advice would be gratefully received, many thanks
