Can you withdraw a settlement offer after it's been accepted?

Hi

I'm wondering if there is any scenario whereby a defendant can withdraw their settlement offer after the offer has been accepted within the relevant period? Can you apply to the court within 7 days to withdraw it? If so, what is the process?
