Hi,
not sure where to put this.
I own a flat in a block that has a communal bike shed.
And about a month and a half ago the lock was changed and also the code preventing myself and my partner from accessing our bikes.
On the day it was changed we noticed the vans for the housing association that manage the block of flats across from ours, which is a separate company from the management company for our block.
I contacted our management company who had no knowledge of the lock being changed.
So I got in touch with the housing association who admitted to changing the lock and told them the issue over email in which they denied that the code was changed.
Eventually they sent someone out to check which is when they realised that the code was not in fact the same as it was before.
At this point they organised for someone to change the lock.
2 missed appointments later our bikes are still locked in the shed.
Where can I go with this legally?
As the bike store is not managed by said housing association is there preventing me from access to my property illegal?
Do i have a right to claim compensation?
Thanks for any help
