I am enquiring on behalf of a friend and hope you can advise. A friend has received a letter of notice of change of legal representative and (1) a law firm has been instructed to act on behalf of claimant, Defendant . in this claim in the place of another solicitor. (2) They have served notice of this change on every party to the claim and the former legal representative. They want my friend to respond whether they are representing themself. my friend is unsure of what they want as there are two law firms written in their letter as well as this issue is a 2015 matter. what advise can you give.
