  • Co-operative Bank Overdraft

I had a Student Account of £1400 as I was studying for 2 years they gave me a fee free overdraft for 2 years then converted it to a Current Account
as I was still studying should they have done this and changed my account as I was in my overdraft they put a default on my account, and passed this onto
Link Financial which was unfair, should I not pay anything for 6 years and get it statute barred or is there anything I can do to get the debt wrote off?
