My mum & my uncle inherited my grandmothers house with an equal 50% share. The house is mortgage free & valued at around £180k.
Would it be possible for myself & my partner to buy my uncles 50% plus 50% of my mums share with a mortgage? Leaving my mum with a 25% share of the house?
We would be looking to get a mortgage of £115k with a deposit of £20k from equity in our existing property which we’d sell.
