Hi all,
we have recently had a building company go into liquidation leaving us with a build half done and a contract unfulfilled. The company will have no money available in the pot to provide us with any sort of rebate as a creditor but I have since found out that both the owners have opened several other businesses (and in fact are listed on the government website under three seperate people all with the same name and date of birth but with different addresses).
is this perfectly legal for them to set up businesses in the same industry and then just liquidate the ones that have too many county court judgements against them and too many creditors to pay?
