  • Siblings at war

I wonder if you can help please, My partner has a property which was split between 5 people, His mums 50% share between 3 and her husbands 50% share split between 2.
My partners mother died first and is currently still going through probate. The step father died afterwards and their probate has been completed. My partner currently lives in the property and is looking to buy the 2 girls share from them to keep the property.
As probate is still going on for his mother, he is now receiving threatening letters to hand over the keys or they will begin legal process for the flat to be vacated.
Where does he stand with this and is this allowed?
